The Views
With 180-degree mountain views year-round, the house's ever-changing backdrop is our favorite feature. Watch summer storms usher in full rainbows. Snow blows in across the valley. Enjoy colorful fall foliage from the comfort of the deck. Wildflowers abound in late spring. 

The well-appointed kitchen 
We like to cook and hate staying in houses with kitchens that have dull knives, dated appliances, and gross pots and pans. We pass our high standards on to our guests.

The cozy fireplace
Our favorite place to spend winter days and evenings is in front of the fireplace. It's perfect for playing games, chatting with friends and family, or watching a movie. 
 
Two living spaces
The kids and adults can't agree on the same movie? We have two living spaces for guests to choose between! 

Hot Tub
Is there anything more relaxing than a hot tub with a view after a day of skiing, snowboarding, or hiking? 

Perfect screened-in porch
Summer sun on the mountain can get hot, and this screened-in porch keeps the sun out, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors in a shady spot. 

Peaceful getaway 
Wintergreen is a resort community, but from the deck of Marley's Cabin, you feel like you are above the trees and no one is around you!  

Stargazing  
With unobstructed views and little light pollution, stargazing is a wonderful experience at Marley's Cabin. Plan your visit around a meteor shower, planetary alignment, or moon event, and you won't be disappointed. 

The sunrises and sunsets  
Wake up to a new view every morning, and take in a unique sunset every evening. No two days will be alike! 

Location
Marley's Cabin is a short drive from Nelson 151 and the Monticello Wine Trail. (If you have not heard, the Charlottesville area and the Monticello (AVA) won Wine Region of the Year for 2023 from Wine Enthusiast!) There are great spots to grab a bite to eat.  A few of our favorites include Greenwood Grocery, Scratch Kitchen at Brewing Tree and Three Notch'd Brewery.
