When guests ask for recommendations, King Family Vineyards is always at the top of our list. Summer weekends bring horses, polo matches and a lovely Rose. Winters are for trivia nights, family movies, bold red wines and sometimes even yoga or salsa dancing.
King Family offers a number of options for tastings. You can do a self guided tasting or a staff led classic tasting to try some of the crowd favorites. For a reservation and small fee, try one of the more elevated options - a Founders Tasting or Reserved Tasting. The tours are awesome. We've taken several and learned so much on each one. Plus, we have had the opportunity to taste wines we haven't had before! (Make sure to try one of their SEVEN 2023 Governors Cup Gold and Silver Medal winners!) You can bring your own food (we suggest dropping by Greenwood Grocery on your way to grab sandwiches or snacks!) or visit one of the food trucks there on Wednesday evenings, Saturday or Sunday. Polo is an important part of the KFV experience. Matches are held at noon on Sundays between Memorial Day and mid-October. Get there early, gates open at 10 am, to grab your spot! The pros even offer lessons and clinics for both adult and youth! KFV is pet friendly and family friendly!
